Ravioli Lasagna

A fun spin on traditional lasagna, this easy make ahead meal can be cooked right from your freezer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 8 oz frozen spinach
  • 8 oz ricotta cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt + pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet with avocado oil. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper
  • Add frozen spinach, ricotta and garlic to a bowl and mix until well combined
  • Place a thin layer of sauce in a 9X13 pan
  • Lay down layer of raviolis, top with 1/2 spinach mixture, 1/2 ground beef, 1 cup mozzarella
  • Repeat each layer
  • Cover with plastic wrap, pressing down to remove air, then cover with foil and freeze
  • To bake from frozen- remove plastic wrap, then cover again with foil. Preheat oven to 375° and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake for another 20-30 min until golden and bubbly
