If you try to wake up early before your kids, or just have to set an alarm to start your day in general (who doesn’t), you will LOVE THIS THING.
It’s an alarm clock that uses gradual light, nature sounds, and *drumroll* diffuses essential oils to help you wake up or go to sleep! You can set routines (either manually or with an app) to use the light, sounds, and/or oils at bedtime or in the morning.
You can totally set it and forget it – I have mine set to diffuse lavender at night, and for the morning it starts lighting up gradually at 4:45 am and diffusing citrus fresh (so invigorating!!) At 5am, sweet bird chirping sounds are what lets me know it’s time to get out of bed. Dreamy right??

If you are totally brand new to oils, I highly recommend getting a starter kit – it will give you 12 oils plus a regular diffuser, it basically starts you off with a well rounded collection (plus it’s bundled so way discounted). This has seriously made hauling myself out of bed early 10x easier, which I am literally SO grateful for. Getting up before you *have* too in general is tough, but Davey is still waking up to eat in the night (usually just once so doable) which def makes it more challenging. A little tip: put the alarm clock where you actually need to get up out of bed to turn it off. If it’s at an arms reach, it’s wayyy too easy to hit snooze or shut it off altogether (ask me how I know lol).
But I’ve found that the reality is – no matter if I’ve slept in or not – getting up out of my super warm cozy bed is hard either way. So it’s pretty much always worth it to get up earlier to have quiet time to myself! I typically strive to do a bible study, drink ningxia/preworkout, do some kind of exercise, and if there’s still time shower & get ready. If I’m really dragging, I’ll skip the workout and knock out some work I have for that day in the peaceful quiet.
